Aerodynamics Design

Designing of the automobiles with a view to decrease the air drag in order to  increase the engine efficiency is called  aerodynamic designing . The air drag contributes to 50-60% of fuel consumption in automobiles on highways. Due to The limits of conventional wind tunnel testing researchers are studying about the drag and ways of reducing it computationally. Due to the stricter norms and eco-friendly approaches, truck manufacturers have begun to invest more for developing truck aerodynamics. Drag reduction are done by geometric changes.
