Biography
Professor Ian Robert McAndrew has completed his PhD in Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering, from Hertfordshire University. He was Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.) and Member of the Institute of Electrical Engineers (M.I.E.E.), Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society (FRAeS), and Fellow of the Hong Kong Society of Mechanical Engineers., He has also been an external examiner at the University of Luton and Chichester. He was Committee & Chair member of PhDs in Aviation. He has extensive experience in research and participates in conferences worldwide. Dr. McAndrew also provides Ph.D. supervision and examination and is a committee member of one of ERAU's first Ph.D. in Aviation. Additionally, he has authored many book and journals. Dr McAndrew has been honoured with many awards for his unparalleled contribution.
