Biography
Dr. Jin Xuan is an Assistant Professor and leads the Advanced Reaction Engineering group in Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK. He obtained his PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Hong Kong in 2011. He was a visiting researcher in The University of Hong Kong and City University of Hong Kong during 2011-2014. Dr. Xuan’s research interests include microfluidics, micro-reactors process intensification and their applications in CO2 utilization, fuel cells, and renewable energy. He has published 1 edited book, 3 book chapters, 47 journal papers and 40+ conference papers (a number of which in the list of ‘Top 25 Hottest Articles’ and ‘Most Accessed Articles‘), filed 12 patents, and delivered 6 invited/keynote speeches in conference. He is Specialty Associate Editor of Frontiers in Environmental Science, an Editorial Board Member of Springer Plus and was a Guest Editor of Micro and Nano-systems.
